I can't take it any more:

I just can't. Man do I hope the Dem's can get their stuff together for November because this just has to stop (understand I'm not a fan of the Dems - they accel at sucking only slightly more than the Republicans excel and kicking them around). I'm not politician but this seems so easy to counter.
I mean come on, these guys are ruining the country. I understand that these issues are important to a lot of people. Hey, you have your opinions, I have mine, let's just both pay our taxes and live together in peace. But, really, let's brainstorm some things that, jeez 80-90% of the country would have to rate as more important than these things.
Hmmm, oh I don't know. Following the recommendations of the 9/11 commission? Figuring out what the hell to do with Iraq? Global-freaking-warming? Healthcare? What was that city that got wiped of the map and all it's residents displaced...oh that's right, NOLA? Energy policy? Making our workers competitive with the rest of the world by fixing the education system? The environment? The out of control federal budget? Lobbying/campaign finance reform (which is the real root of all of this if you ask me, but you didn't)? Capturing Osama "Wanted Dead or Alive, You can run but you can't hide" Bin Laden?
And I haven't even started trying yet. You know, the list of things that affect every-single-person-in-the-flippin-country-every-day? I don't care how you frame it but you can't tell me that the list of things the GOP is focusing on has any real effect in the way people live. Sure, you can be upset about it but it doesn't affect your day to day choices, what you have for dinner, which neighborhood you live in, or what happens when Little Billy needs his medicine.
But hey, if you can honestly tell me that you disagree with that, then by all means, vote for these guys. They don't promise to fix any of the stuff I listed and by golly, I'll bet you they won't.
