After a month of pretending I'm a contractor I've pretty much completed my media room. I still need to get a screen but the projector looks pretty darn good on the primer-white wall. Can't wait to see it on the screen. But like all projects, now that it's pretty much done I'm kind of wondering what to do next. 'Course watching TV, movies, playing XBox has filled up plenty of time on it's own!

Our products have obviously been successful and we've used customer feedback to get there but it hasn't been a tight loop and MS has always looked like this big black box to the outside world. Snow is neat to look at but 50 and raining is much easier to deal with than -20 with snow drifts everywhere. In case I didn't remember what nasty winters were like, well, we've had two weeks of it now. It was cold for a week and a half, then it snowed a bunch, then it got...
